August Campaign: Put Rep. Jeff Flake on the Appropriations Committee

WHEREAS: The Republican Party has an open slot available on the House Appropriations Committee.

WHEREAS: Congress is spending at record levels, and is passing tens of thousands of earmarks that divert taxpayer resources to shadowy special interest projects.

WHEREAS: Jeff Flake is a proven fighter against pork projects and irresponsible earmark spending.

BE IT RESOVED: That the Republican Party should fight against wasteful and excessive spending, and improve oversight, by appointing Congressman Jeff Flake to the House Appropriations Committee.
