Thomas HagstromChandler, AZFebruary 18, 2010John, I like many of my conservative friends used to be grateful to share an affiliation with the Republican party. Now, few true Republicans remain, Jeff Flake being one of them. He will endure in Congress, and wee need to promote him. Republican secret spenders will be voted out by my friends and I. Where do you stand?

Jay Franklinwest roxbury, MAMarch 14, 2009I heard Jeff Flake has a list of earmarks to corporate entities and a corresponding kickback to lawmakers in the form of campaign donations. I'm sure there is a good time to release this, so God Bless your timing. Would love to see a Bernie Madoff corporate entity list. Rumour has it Kerry and Kennedy are on that big time along with some Repubs. That money needs to be returned.
Josh & Floy LewisLancaster, TXMarch 5, 2009 We need a representative who is in the business of saving HIS COUNTRY(our country)and then his party (our party) when he can. Please give this statesman, Mr. Flake, a chance to bring our party congressmen back to constitutional thought. Who cares if the Republicans are in control if we have no freedom? PLEASE HEAR US!
amy watsonCharlotte, NCMarch 3, 2009PLEASE, PLEASE restore congress to it's intended purpose; representation of the citizens of the United States of America. We need FLAKE on the House Appropriations Committee!!! This is the USA, not Russia. In Russia, the people are poor and the government bureaucrats are rich. PLEASE do not continue on this path to destroy the American people for the benefit of the relatively few government bureaucrats.
Robert WilkinsonEvans, GAFebruary 28, 2009x
Lauren ToddWexford, PAFebruary 26, 2009I heard Jeff Flake on Sean Hannity's radio show today and was impressed with his character, pleased to hear of his efforts to fight against pork projects and efforts to encourage all Republican congressmen to do the same. Keep up the good fight!
Colleen LombardPhoenix, AZFebruary 25, 2009Jeff Flake has the character and fortitude to act in the best interest of the taxpayers. Jeff will provide oversight. He will act with integrity. Please support Jeff Flake. Sincerely, Colleen A. Lombard Phoenix, Arizona
Patrick McCannBlacksburg, VAFebruary 17, 2009Jeff Flake is one of the most viable leaders within the Republican party and one of the few that can help it reshape its message and broaden its base.
Mary Alice TannerDeer Creek, ILJanuary 30, 2009We Republicans need Flake! YOUR OWN PARTISAN BEHAVIOR IS NOTICED AND NOT APPRECIATED. You don't have to be a rubber stamp but you can move in a positive way and be seen as a less negative force. I am disappointed in our minority's behavior. Is it just to get your face on the camera. BAD
Gerry AndersonMansfield, MAJanuary 27, 2009If any republican votes for this TARP BAILOUT BILL I will never vote republican again. I do not want my children to live under socialism!!!
Jim LomenickAlpharetta, GAJanuary 20, 2009OK, Boehner, this is your big chance to get back to those "conservative principles" you're always talking about...last time you put Jo "Big Spender" Bonner on the open seat instead of Flake, basically telling your conservative base to go pound sand...it's my understanding that you also "punished" Flake by removing and/or demoting him from some other committees....you really should go ahead and step down from your leadership position if you screw us again. I'll be happy to lead the charge for that. And btw, I can out-suntan you anytime. I'm betting your tan is either from a sun-tan bed or one of those self-tanning lotions --- both fake, which figures with you.
Marsha FagnaniCamp Connell, CAJanuary 18, 2009Too much waste. Too much big government with huge waste without any real consequences because our government is just too big. Our Country is broke and Washington's spending money like there's no tomorrow. We are tired of our tax dollars being wasted. We need a strong voice for the Appropriations Committee!!!
Rebecca RoeberLees Summit, MOJanuary 11, 2009Congressman is Flake is obviously the best man for the appropriations committee. Congressman Flake remains acutely aware that the money congress appropriates is not theirs - it is ours. We trust them to be prudent and wise with it - something congressman Flake can be entusted to do.
Caterina PlattLos Lunas, NMJanuary 11, 2009Congress needs to listen to the people. We do not support this runaway spending and the lack of accountability in Washington. Congressman Flake, and many more like him, Please. Get the corrupt out of there!
Robert OlmsteadGilbert, AZJanuary 7, 2009I am a constituent of Congressman Flake, and I volunteered for his campaign during his first run for congress. I would like to give my support for Congressman Flake as a member of the appropriations committee.
E. Christian ChristensenKalispell, MTJanuary 3, 2009x
Jeff MaischPlacentia, CAJanuary 2, 2009Jeff Flake has been a strong and steady conservative voice and a man of integrity. His appointment to Appropriations will help preserve our freedom and restore our prosperity.
Vicki CribbsLeesburg, GAJanuary 2, 2009Republicans need to get behind this man and support him instead of trying to silence him. We are tired of congress spending our money the way they do.

Dam PhamBellingham, WADecember 31, 2008Fighting pork is an uphill battle. This is why we need more true conservatives like Representative Jeff Flake on the Appropriations Committee in order to achieve a reduction in wasteful spending.

Joann NicholsonRichland Center, WIDecember 27, 2008I think congress should do away with all pork spending. WE CANNOT AFFORD IT.
JIM FUTRELLPensacola, FLDecember 26, 2008Congress shoudl pass a law ending ALL amenedments to major bills to stop PORK BARRELL SPENDING. Jeff Flake's appointment to the appropiations committe could be a start. Then give the President a line item veto.... We will never reduce our national debt as long as we allow PORK BARRELL SPENDING.
Joanne BallsWilliamsburg, VADecember 25, 2008x
Walter MorganWest Monroe, LADecember 24, 2008I would love to see Congressman Flake on the appropriations committee. My "Republican" Congressman, Rodney Alexander is currently on that committee. He is a disgrace to the Republican Party. Give Rodney's seat to Jeff. We need a REAL conservative Republican on that committee.

J. Marshall SayeChesterfield, MODecember 19, 2008A true conservative and he warrants our support. He has been a watchdog over the pork laden bills in the past. He will do us a great job. Give him the job.
Kelly BarzGrapevine, TXDecember 19, 2008We need to go back to a government that lives within a balanced budget and penalizes corporate executives who knowingly participate in poor business practice based on greed and dishonesty that lead to the meltdown in so many different business categories.

Rick JudySisters, ORDecember 15, 2008How can GM recover when they are banking on a $40,000 car (Volt) to accomplish that. We need a car real people can by, $16K to 20K area. Their market share is down because Europe and the Orient produce a less costly high quality car. Putting "funny money" in to support a moniatary system we have lost faith in will not work. Work on the faith part since our money isn't worth any more than our beliefs in it. If you are going to give more $$$ away in a day than 5 years of war costs. It is very plentiful or worthless and run away inflation will follow as soon as everyone wakes up. Lets see responsible leadership not panic driven running into walls as the Democrats and some Republicans appear to be doing. Rick Judy
Susan FrenchSan Mateo, CADecember 15, 2008Runaway spending has got to STOP! Congress needs to live within a budget like the rest of us. Keep your hands out of our pockets! Support Rep. Jeff Flake on the Appropriations Committee...he understands this and will represent taxpayers honestly and fairly.
