Deana BessNaples, FLDecember 3, 2008Rep. Jeff Flake reflects my views on Constitutional policy and supporting the true freedome this country stands for, even if that freedom is freedom to fail in a capitalist market. Company's who fail should not be funded by our tax dollars. Please add Rep. Flake to serve on the House appropriations committee.

Dix DavisEscondido, CADecember 3, 2008It is my understanding that Jeff Flake sleeps in his office, has never had an apartment in DC...sounds like my kind of Republican!

Steven NapolielloCinnaminson, NJDecember 3, 2008Let’s have a reform or “change’ all of America can BELIEVE! 1. Let’s restore Rep. Jeff Flake to his previous House Committee positions and particularly the Judiciary Committee or more appropriately the empty GOP seat on the Ways and Means Committee. Once it is known by the Republican base that Jeff was “punished and removed for opposing (Pork Barrel) Ear Marks” all hell will brake loose by 2010! 2. End Pork Barrel/Ear Marks spending now and forever more! 3. Lets restore common sense to the legislative process and to the U. S. Congress (the House and the Senate) by establishing limited terms of office: Two (2) four (4) year terms and out for both chambers. We know the arguments: “It will lead to mediocre legislation…” That would be an improvement! “It takes awhile to learn the ropes…” That’s the very thing we fear the most! If limited terms are good enough for Presidents and Governors who have an infinitely more complex job it is good enough for legislators. Executives do not have the luxury of voting “present” or “abstain”ing. 4. True election reform is needed. Abolish # 527’s. Every person I talk to, regardless of Party, think this is...[trimmed for length]

Joseph GrivoisManchester, NHDecember 3, 2008We, the overtaxed, under represented, usually overlooked or outright ignored; hard working, conservative believers in God, are sick and tired of...your self serving, double dealing, money and power hungry ways. We now demand you select Jeff Flake for the Appropriations Committee and follow his lead and his example. He is the kind of public servanr we always wanted and sorely need. May his kind multiply and roll over those of you who truly do not represent the people who voted for you. Jeff Flake now. Jeff Flake always. May God bless Jeff Flake and your deliberations.

val griffithontario, ORDecember 3, 2008we must get real conservatives in as many positions as possible.
Laraine Abbey RN, CNSPoint Pleasant, NJDecember 3, 2008Please appoint Jeff Flake as he stands for sound fiscal policies and against this horrible practice of earmarking bills. Many good bills fail to pass because of really bad earmarks. Every bill should stand or fall on its own merit. Further, we must get out from under the grip of the pharmaceutical companies. Introduce legislation to stop drug company advertisements to the public. The drugging of citizens for profit is reaching really dangerous proportions and the FDA is protecting the drug companies, not the people.
