Sam CragerStanwood, WAFebruary 5, 2008I just today received an appeal through the mail for Citizens Against Government Waste written by Congressman Flake. I hadn't heard of him before, but thank God there are still some Conservatives in Congress who not only talk the talk but walk the walk. We MUST cut government spending -- it's no longer an option.

Debbie ChaneySan Antonio, TXJanuary 30, 2008x
Alex CourtneyGalesburg, ILJanuary 30, 2008Get Congressman Flake on the committee now! 3 trillion in spending and 13 trillion in total US GDP. That's crazy! If we want low taxes we need low spending. Low taxes go hand in hand with low spending. I am more concerned about spending than taxes, because spending is the driver for taxes. The more a government spends as a percentage of the country's GDP, the less free its people become.
Patricia LoseyFlorence, AZJanuary 30, 2008I believe Congressman Jeff Flake has proven he would fill a large void on the House Appropriations Committee. We trust him! Jeff will get the job done. Please appoint him! Thank you.
Jana MillsSnowflake, AZJanuary 30, 2008Please appoint Congressman Jeff Flake to the House Appropriations Committee so he can help our country get back on track with less spending. Our nation is in trouble and we need someone with common sense to be on the committee to review and control government spending. I think Jeff Flake is the right man for the job.

Andy MarshallPhillips, WIJanuary 29, 2008The Republican betrayal of the limited government ideals of our Founding Fathers and the traditional conservative movement has to stop. There are only a handful of legitimate fiscal conservatives left (Rep. Paul, Rep. Flake, Sen. Coburn, a few others) in Congress, and placing Rep. Flake would be the boldest step the GOP leadership could to take to prove that the gravy train will be stopped.
