| Nathan Adams | Haysville, KS | January 12, 2008 | The Bridge2Nowhere & Wasteful Earmark Spending cost Republicans the majority in 2006, because The Appropriations Commitee is currently filled with spend happy RINO Dinosaurs. Congressman Jeff Flake should be the first of many Republican Spending Hawks appointed to the Appropriations Commitee. Furthermore, Republican Leadership should self-term limit spending commitees like Appropriations and Ways & Means. |
| Richard Hicks | Mission Viejo, CA | January 12, 2008 | x |
| James Daley | Miami, FL | January 12, 2008 | Congress fails again to standup or save for all Americans. We need to have the wasteful spending stopped NOW! Only the essentials should even be considered. If not the whole, then not all. Spend tax dollars to benefit all Americans, not just a select few. Cutoff the spending on projects that mean absolutley nothing. Spend money where it will help with the health and well-being of all people. No money for overseas countries. Keep the money in America for the benefit of Americans! Put Congressman Flake in to help all Americans! |
| John Nelson | Sun City West, AZ | January 12, 2008 | x |
| Joel Trammell | Austin, TX | January 12, 2008 | We need more people like Congressman Flake. |
| Paul Bryant | Drumright, OK | January 12, 2008 | I wholeheartedly support Jeff Flake for the House Appropriations Committee position and believe he will be a catalyst for the change we need in wasteful, pork-barrel spending that has gone on long enough. Take a stand with us Congressman Boehner and add Jeff Flake to your important work in this committee. |

| Mary McKannan | Haubstadt, IN | January 12, 2008 | We need to get back to how the Founding Fathers intended for the government to be governed. The tax system by their standards(The Constitution) is illegal today. Stop out of control spending, unneccessary government programs and earmarks.Socialism has been tried over and over again and it fails everytime. As Ronald Reagan said "The government that governs best governs least." |
| Grace Pergament | Plano, TX | January 12, 2008 | Don't let the conservatives in the Republican party down again. I want Rep. Flake on the House Appropriations commitee. I want to be proud to call myself a Republican again. |

| Jeff McCormick | Gig Harbor, WA | January 12, 2008 | Congressman Boehner, Congressman Flake is one of the few Members of Congress who puts his constituent’s interests first. His voting record clearly reflects his commitment to leadership in fiscal issues. The previous Congress will forever be tainted by its legacy of runaway spending. Don't you think it's time to have a member of the Appropriations Committee who is committed to the best interests of the people? Millions of voters do! |
| Paul Reussow | Alpharetta, GA | January 12, 2008 | x |
| Bill Walker | Freeport, TX | January 12, 2008 | While reading the Constitution of the united States, I noted that the government is to work with a 5% exsiess tax; all these ABC groups are not within the Constitution. They don't require the funding wasted. You people are suppose to work for us, not the other way around. |

| Richard & Mary Ann Reid | Alpharetta, GA | January 12, 2008 | x |
| Cynthia Turnbull | Dallas, TX | January 12, 2008 | Republicans need to act like fiscal conservatives and earn the trust of the American people again. Jeff Flake can help you do that! |
| Jim Owens | Twin Oaks, MO | January 12, 2008 | x |
| Barbara Domek | Circle Pines, MN | January 12, 2008 | Please appoint Congressman Flake to the House Appropriations Committee. We need him to help eliminate the outrageous Pork Barrel spending that greedy liberals and conservatives try to put through. We the low to middle class (those making under $60,000.00) a year just cannot afford the taxes anymore. We're very concerned about how we're going to make ends meet as it is. Gas for our automobiles is taking a huge chunk out of our income, food has gone way up in the last month along with everything else. Speaking personally, we're falling farther & farther in the hole each month because the money that was supposed to go for monthly bills, is now going for gas to get to work, and food. As for clothing? At this point, buying new clothes to replace worn out cloths has become a luxury that we have been forced to live without. I think that's pathetic! But, in our home, and some other people I know, it's just a fact of life. We either put our clothing and grocery money into the gas tank, or, there's no income due to job loss. Also, many companies here are laying people off. I've heard from a relative who lives in St. Paul, at least 12 of her friends have lost their jobs in the past ...[trimmed for length] |
| themeos drossos | Ferndale, WA | January 12, 2008 | Please appoint Congressmand Flake. It's the right thing to do. Themeos Drossos |

| ROBERT LACZLO | El Cajon, CA | January 12, 2008 | THIS IS A NO BRAINER ..... |
| Seven Corners, VA | January 12, 2008 | Jeff Flake has been a leader on fighting earmarks, even when the House leadership was afraid of the senior members on Appropriations. He, more than almost anyone else in the whole House, should be on this committee. | |
| Diane Toth | Venice, FL | January 12, 2008 | The Republican Party needs to abide by its small government rhetoric. Or is it just rhetoric??? |
| Donald Olivier | Kenner, LA | January 12, 2008 | x |

| Jane Kellner | Hamburg, NY | January 12, 2008 | We are rapidly loosing control of this grest nation. For the first time in my life, some polls show that the public thinks Democrats do a better job fiscally than Republicans. We have to get back to our conservative values across the board, and Appropriations is a good place to start! Please put Congressman Flake in. |
| Kist | Olathe, KS | January 12, 2008 | As a local Republican leader, I'm trying to encourage our base and attract new converts. Please help me do that by voting to appoint Jeff Flake. I need to be able to point to a clear contrast between us and the Dems. Help me do that. |
| Rosalyn Franks | Anaheim, CA | January 12, 2008 | Congress (and many other politicians) do not treat revenues as THE PEOPLES investment. Acting like kids in a candy store is not fitting a politician who we trust to do the peoples business. And when your piggy bank is low, you simply raise our taxes. We the people want this stopped! |
| Frank and Sally Henderson | Phoenixville, PA | January 12, 2008 | Please Stop the Waste!! Appoint Congressman Flake |
| John Petri | Round Rock, TX | January 12, 2008 | Congressman Boehner, I am one of millions of Americans who is appalled at the current level of government spending. EARMARKS ARE A DISGRACE! ESPECIALLY when they are added to a bill to fund our military that is currently engaged in life and death combat. I urge you to appoint Congressman Flake to the House Appropriations Committee. He has consistently worked to reign in government spending and is the kind of man we need in an important position like this. |

| Howard Gay | Garland, TX | January 12, 2008 | We need to get spending under control. Stopping "earmarks" is a good way to begin. |
| Al Sardello | Boulder, CO | January 12, 2008 | The fiscal performance of the Republican majority in the previous Congress was a major factor in their return to minority status. For some reason, the message regarding high taxes and the need for ever more money to finance "pet projects" in lieu of fiscal discipline, isn't getting through. It seems there is a race between the two parties as to who can spend the most (although the Democrats lead in looking for big Socialistic style spending); this "bread and circus" attitude carries dangers beyond the fiscal area. Appointing Congressman Flake to the House Appropriations Committee is a small but hugely important first step in what will be a hard road of reining in a comfortable way of life of spending OPM. |
| William Armstronrg | Wooster, OH | January 12, 2008 | Congressman Boehner, The Constitution states "...PROVIDE for the national defense and PROMOTE the general welfare...", not the other way around. | William Squire | Murrieta, CA | January 12, 2008 | For Republicans to regain the trust of the voting public, it is absoultly necessary for an end to the absurdity if earmarks that if my Congress women were to propose I would become her opponent. Lets stop the waste and return to sane fiscal policies by changing the make up of the Appropriations Committee. |
| Emma Cielensky | New Port Richey, FL | January 12, 2008 | x |

| Charles Durand | Maryville, TN | January 12, 2008 | I will support Congressman Flake on or off the appropriations committee.
