Jeremy HamakerHephzibah, GADecember 4, 2008Republicans are losing because they are no more conservative than democrats. Republican office-holders: return to your party's conservative roots and see americans vote for you in droves, instead of staying at home.
David NewtonPhoenix, AZDecember 4, 2008I'm from Arizona, and we're very proud to have Jeff representing us! He's well liked for many reasons, but he sets a great example for the rest of congress when it comes to earmarks and congressional pork. If we can get enough like him on the House Appropriations committee, we can finally begin to fix the problems with our over-sized and ineffective legislative branch.
Monica RogersQueen Creek, AZDecember 4, 2008If we are going differentiate our party from the "big Government" democrats we have got to clean up our own house. We, the American public, our tired of the corruption and unrestrained spending in Washington. We need Jeff Flake!

Raymond HeyerPUYALLUP, WADecember 4, 2008There is a limited amount of money that all levels of government can "squeeze" out of the American Taxpayers. Now is the time for elected representatives of the Taxpayers to force a serious "squeeze" on our government to rigorously keep within the "income" provided by the Taxpayers -- before the American Government goes bankrupt. Take a responsible stand to right the wrongs of our government by selecting -- Jeff Flake -- to serve of the Appropriations Committee. Remember: No Earmarks, No Pork Spending. Thank You, Raymond A. Heyer

Bruce ThomasTucson, AZDecember 4, 2008Someone needs to stop the selfish spending and bailouts or the taxpayers will........I believe that Jeff is the beginning.
John HombergChandler, AZDecember 4, 2008Bill's should be voted on up or down on it's merits, not the earmarks attaached to them, that's crazy. Jeff Flake will work to stop earmarks. We need leadership and accountability, Jeff Flak has both
Melvin SmithIndio, CADecember 4, 2008Jeff Flake needs to be in a position where he can call the thieving, spending liberals what they are; dishonest. We need to be very vocal and I believe that Rep. Flake has the tact and the passion to make clear that many in congress, on both sides of the aisle, have let us down. We need to stop giving taxpayer money to private businesses, banks or auto makers or anybody. The free enterprise system says if you give $ 5.00 to one business, you have to give it to all of them. DO NOT GIVE ANY MORE MONEY TO PRIVATE BUSINESSES, that is not what the government is for. Put Rep. Flake where he can expose the corrupt Democrats, and others, in the House for what they are and stop this abuse of giving the people's money away.
James ShawFredericksburg, VADecember 4, 2008We need someone like Rep. Flake to fight the pork and to bring real transparency to appropriations. Republicans need to once again be the party of less and more efficient government.
William TaylorRio Rancho, NMDecember 4, 2008We need leadership in the GOP Senate arena and it should start with Jeff Flake and Jim DeMint. Let's get the GOP back into the main stream of government ASAP and this time, let's do it right!
therese postvandalia, OHDecember 4, 2008x
Bob GollehurMacomb, MIDecember 4, 2008I support Jeff as he appears to be firmly against Pork. And we will be up against a lot of it in the near term.
Madge WallaceLongmont, CODecember 4, 2008Please appoint Jeff Flake to the appropriations committee. We really need to stop excessive spending, and I believe he is a man of fiscal responsibility.
Charles OryMesa, AZDecember 4, 2008If there were ever a time for an uncomprising personnel on the committee, now is such a time. Please send Mr. Flake into the fray.
Sue DenneySun City, AZDecember 4, 2008After reading the earmarks and money given to Pennsylvania by Murtha, Jeff Flake is very needed and would be a great asset as a representative on the Appropriations Committee. If Mr. Flake saves 10 American dollars from Congressional waste he will be worth his weight in gold. Go Mr. Flake!
Jody De ValkSan Antonio, TXDecember 4, 2008Left, right, conservative, liberal, democrat, republican... I don't care about the labels. I want responsibility, accountability and leadership. Government has run amok long enough.
R Scott MaxwellHayden Lake, IDDecember 4, 2008Republicans must start standing for our principles. Rep. Flake is a man who demonstrates these principles and should be one of the faces of the republican leadership.
James MarkeyLong Beach, CADecember 4, 2008Jeff Flake is a true fiscal conservative. If the Republican Party won't support Jeff Flake, then I have to question why should support the Republican Party.
Vincent MazzaNaples, FLDecember 4, 2008x
John de SotoMorrilton, ARDecember 4, 2008The party needs to get back to its conservative roots before losing more of us to the Constitution Party or the Libertarian Party.
albert vajdachandler, AZDecember 4, 2008We, the people, expect and demand our conservative voice be heard in Congress. There is no better place for Mr. Flake, than appropriations.
albert vajdachandler, AZDecember 4, 2008We, the people, expect and demand our conversative voice be heard in Congress. There is no better place for Mr. Flake, than appropriations.
Greg BrittPowell, OHDecember 4, 2008We need someone that doesn't think money grows on trees in Washington. We need Jeff Flake.
Margaret TurleyMesa, AZDecember 4, 2008please don't use more tax dollars for bailout and endenture my grandchildren more than they already are. Put Jeff Flake on the committee.
Lawrence Hearn Sr.Tempe, AZDecember 4, 2008I support Congressman Flake for appointment to the Appropriations Committee. He will provide some balance to the ear markers and free spender attitudes. Please give him serious consideration.
Tom & Carol PorterNew Bethlehem, PADecember 4, 2008We are totally fed up with the wishy-wasy GOP leadership. The appointment of Rep. Jeff Flake to the Appropriations Committee would go along way in restoring our faith in the Republican Party. Jeff is a true Conservative, not just on Election Day! We need him to counter Porky Pigs like John Murtha (D-PA).
Gladys GustafsonNew Bern, NCDecember 4, 2008x
Thomas BergerGilbert, AZDecember 4, 2008No more bailouts. The free market will take carre of itself.
Dave HuneGilbert, AZDecember 4, 2008I'm sick and tired of watching our Congressfolks posturing on TV and not taking responsibility for their actions, blaming everyone else. Remember the old line, "Deeds not words?" That reminds me of Jeff Flake. Somebody has to show those folks how. Put Mr. Flake on the committee.
Byron BarkerCharleston, SCDecember 4, 2008I want Jeff Flake placed on the Appropriations Committee where he can better protect my tax dollars. Thamk you.
Joan PfutzenreuterPhoenix, AZDecember 4, 2008x
Marcella PetersChandler, AZDecember 4, 2008Jeff Flake is my congressman, and I would appreciate your appointing him to the Appropriations Committee. The common people in this country are tired of the spending in DC. When we don't have enough money to pay our bills, we simply don't buy, go without, and cut back on our expenses. The leaders in Washington need to do the same. This country is in serious financial trouble caused by overspending by both parties. Congress cannot go on spending the way it has for the past few years. I am proud that Congressman Flake represents my District, and it is only a tragedy that more representatives do not watch the budget more closely. We don't need a lot of these appropriations that Congress is spending. There is so much waste in the government today it is appalling. Appoint Jeff Flake to the Appropriations Commitee.
David BarrettPrescott, AZDecember 4, 2008Enough is enough! It's time to stop wasteful spending and get this country back on a fiscally conservative track. Please appoint Jeff Flake to the House Appropriations Committee.
Janet BruningGold Canyon, AZDecember 4, 2008I'm tired of my Arizona taxpayer dollars going to Alaska for bridges to nowhere and other states to study mating habits of mosquitos! We need Jeff Flake to watch out for us.
wayne dollarmoeeistown, TNDecember 4, 2008John, Please put Jeff Flake on the Approprations Committee. This country is looking into a black abyss created by greedy politicians who forced financial institutions to extend credit to those who had not a prayer of repaying the loan. Frank,Dodd and others who pushed the community redevelopment program should be tried as the criminals they surely are. This country will not survive in a free market form now that these crooks have had their way. Thank you.
R. E. GaffneyMesa, AZDecember 4, 2008R.E. Gaffney, We need Jeff to fight the earmake abuse. It is so far out of hand the country is going broke. Th is is NOT what that committee is there for.
